Memorials
Headstones and memorials offer a lasting way to mark a grave, while ashes burials can be arranged more quickly. Below you'll find guidance on timeframes, placement, and who to contact for further support.

Headstone
Following a burial, a memorial can usually be placed once the ground has settled — this is generally after 12 months. Allowing time for the ground to settle helps prevent movement and keeps the memorial stable. We’ll advise you on suitable timing based on the location and conditions of the grave.
Burial of Ashes
The burial of ashes can be arranged shortly after the cremation. Ashes may be placed in a new plot, an existing family grave, or a designated memorial area, depending on what is right for your family. We can help with the arrangements and guide you through the options available.
